GANG CONTROL!

This Swedish band has it.
if someone would ask; Hey, what is the deal? what really is Punkrock anyway?
i still cant make the right answer to be totally correct. but i grew up with some local bands:
The unexpected, down and away, the pricks, the spitts, frenzy four, etc. and fell in love with touring bands that came to town, what bands that comes to mind is BOMBSHELL ROCKS and TARGETPOINT. This is what GANG CONTROL reminds me of.

GANG CONTROL brings me back to the time i was a kid, when i only cared about skateboarding and music. And when punkrock really came into my life, and i fell a part of a new scene.

These guys sure knows what they're doing. And what i was talking about here above, i like the sound of this band. They have the thing that makes me in a good mood.

You can tell, i got bananas when i saw thier new video on the tube.
A seemingly homemade video with some cool fellas and the proper red and black flag(!)

"Everyday its all the same
I never gonna feel ashamed
for wanting something else in life
than working towards suicide

My lifes been reduced to 8 hours of sleep
10 hours of work then 6 hours free
i dont want to be wannabe bourgoise
fuck your life - that life is not for me"

I love this.. It feels like they're singing the stuff i have in my head, that i tell myself everyday.
things i have to tell others when they are questioning my life choices.
Im getting pissed everytime someone tells me im wrong, people who tell me to do something with my life, cut my hair and get a job.. Some day i might do. And some day i might be dead...?
All i care about is now, be nice to other people and share the good moments with people i love.
Peace! GANG CONTROL.

Close-up Båten 6-7/9 stockholm-Åbo

Well, why shouldnt i go on this trip?
23h of partying on a cruise ship.
i went shitfaced and met alot of people..
this boat was pretty much a labyrinth.
so i didnt find everywhere i wanted to go before it was too late..
mega bummer.
but i had a good time even though i almost blow out all of my money on this.
But it was totally worth it.

Bands on the photos: Soulfly, Sister, The 69Eyes, Crashdïet..

In a few days, ill travel down the country to this one-day open air festival.
It says the venue is beautiful. i hope this is going to be rad.
And pictures will be uploaded wen i get home.
This last month i have been at the biggest festival in Sweden, the Peace & Love festival.
I was there working most of the time so i didnt see as much bands as i could wish..
Me and the guys i worked with went to the next festival after this. It was the Getaway rock Festival.
(Manowar, Nightwish, Yngvie Malmsteen, Municipal Waste, Satyricon, Raised Fist etc)
this festival i got to see most of the bands i wished to see. such a great fucking festival.

You can actually see me running fast in the pit on this clip. enjoy!

Here are some pictures i took on the Live gig with Nasum on 11:th May 2012, First gig of the Farewell tour.
The show started of awesome n' rad. I couldnt stop banging my head as i hold my self onto the front barrier.
And on the last song (Inhale/exhale i think?) i joined the circlepit and slamed almost directly pretty hard to the ground, the surroundings turned black and in pixls, i thought i broke my arm.  but did not. i feel great about my attending to this show. Kudos to the drummer i met just before he would go onstage. Believe me he was nervous. Just like me when im about to attempt my heat on a skateboard contest.
I will remember this a long time. And hopefully i will see you on your other swedish tourdates.
Seein you outside of sweden..? Im not so sure of and pretty sorry for that.
Cheers and good luck
